For your information:
Just last month, in December 2009, McNeil Consumer Healthcare recalled all lots of TYLENOL Arthritis Pain 100 count with EZ-open caps. The company is now issuing a broader recall that includes more products which may be affected.
The recall follows an investigation of consumer reports that pointed to a moldy, musty, or mildew-like odor that, in some cases, was associated with temporary, non-serious gastrointestinal events (nausea, stomach pain, vomiting, diarrhea).
McNeil believes the odor is caused by trace amounts of a chemical, referred to as TBA, which is somehow linked to the wood pallets used to transport and store packaging materials.
